About Us
Warsaw Artists Management was founded in 1994 by the experienced managers from the Polish Radio Artists Management. Since that time we've been organizing every year more than 30 artistic projects, both in export and import of the artists of the classical music, phonographic, opera co-productions, master classes, commissioned concerts and PR activities on behalf of the particular instrumentalists. We represent in Poland on the exclusivity basis such renowed artists like: Rafa³ Blechacz, Ingrid Fliter, Barbara Hendricks, Evgeny Kissin, Marc Laforet, Mischa Maisky, Vadim Repin, Krystian Zimerman and world-famous chamber ensembles like: Borodin Quartet and Beaux Arts Trio.
In July 1996 we produced the concert of the Cracow Radio Orchestra for the Pope John Paul II in Castelgandolfo under the highest patronage of the President of Poland. In 1999 we were creating together with Krystian Zimerman Polish Festival Orchestra, which toured with him as the soloist and conductor all over the world. This unprecedented project included 41 concerts in the major musical centers of Europe and the US(Sallle Pleyel, Concertgebouw, Royal Festival Hall, Philharmony in Cologne, Tonhalle in Zurichu, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Festiwal w Salzburg Festival, to mention just few) and CD recording for Deutsche Grammophon. It was our famous pianist tribute to 150-year since Chopin's death. On September 1st,1999 we co-produced the concert of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under Zubin Mehta to conmemorate the 60 years since the World War II began.
In 2005 we were honoured by Rafa³ Blechacz - the winner of the last Chopin Competition to represent him in Poland and to run his office.
Apart from the classical music activities Warsaw Artists Management enters other kind of performing art activities and show-business. For example we brought to Poland Paco Rabanne to promote his new book, jazz guitarist Al di Meola, pop guitarist Francis Goya and folk singer Cesaria Evora. Since many years we've been co-operating with 20 Polish philharmonic societies. We have established a partnership collaboration with many festivals like: Bydgoszcz Festival, Musica Antiqua Europae Orientalis, Sacrum & Profanum in Music in Cracow, Dialogue of 4 Cultures in Lodz, Fermata in Gdansk, Chopin Festival in Antonin, Busko and Kazimierz festivals.
